Lottomatica and all its companies obtained the certification to the UNI ISO 37001:2016 standard “Anti bribery management system”, recognized by the Italian accreditation body Accredia on 25 July.
The recognition comes a few weeks after the approval of the Group's anti-corruption policy and guidelines, another fundamental step in the matter. The document aims to promote a culture that dissuades from carrying out corrupt activities and to facilitate the prevention and identification of these conducts.
ISO 37001 is the first international standard on management systems designed to help organizations fight the risk of corruption in business activities. The certification of Lottomatica's anti-corruption management system to the international standards of the ISO 37001 standard was issued by the accredited certification body Rina Services. A result that included the verification of the control systems and measures implemented by the group in order to prevent and mitigate the risk of corruption.
Thanks to the certification - which joins the already adopted organization, management and control model envisaged by the legislative decree number 231 of 2001 - the Group now has a further safeguard against the risk of corruption.
