For the second year in a row, the Extel Survey has honored the top management of Lottomatica Group. In the 2026 edition of the annual survey conducted by Extel—based on evaluations from approximately 1,500 institutional investors and international financial analysts—CEO Guglielmo Angelozzi and CFO Laurence Van Lancker were named best CEO and best CFO in Europe within the "Leisure & Hotels" mid-cap category. In the global ranking, Angelozzi secured second place overall among top managers in the sector.
The Extel Survey is a benchmark assessment for the global financial community. Every year, it gathers evaluations from institutional investors, portfolio managers, and sell-side analysts regarding listed companies and their executive teams, categorized by sector and market capitalization. The recognition awarded to Angelozzi and Van Lancker—who were also honored in the 2025 edition—reflects sustained appreciation for the Group's strategic direction and financial management.
Supporting the analysts' positive assessment are the Group's strong economic fundamentals in the 2025 financial year: total wagers of approximately €45 billion and consolidated revenues of €2.3 billion. Lottomatica operates with around 2,600 direct employees, a franchise network of approximately 17,400 points of sale, and over 2,2 million active online customers across three main operating segments: Online, Sports Franchise, and Gaming Franchise.
This double recognition from Extel is part of a broader journey that has seen Lottomatica consolidate its position over recent years as the leader of the Italian gaming market and a key benchmark for institutional investors across Europe.
