Innovation and work: Lottomatica Digital Solutions’ Career Day at the Polytechnic University of Bari

Pubblicato il: 28 febbraio 2023

Lottomatica Digital Solutions’ commitment in Bari is becoming increasingly solid. In the coming days, the Lottomatica Group company specialising in the promotion and development of software for international gaming platforms will be holding an orientation day for undergraduates and recent graduates of the Polytechnic University of Bari, with which it recently signed a three-year framework collaboration agreement.

The date has been set for next Friday, at 9.30 a.m., at the University’s Museum of Photography, at no. 4 via Orabona. The Career Day event will be attended by the CEO of Lottomatica Digital Solutions, Mauro Del Quondam, and professor of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the University of Bari, and scientific director of the convention, Tommaso Di Noia, among others. Throughout the morning, participating students and recent graduates will have the opportunity to take part in orientation interviews with company representatives present at the university (the link to register for the Career Day event can be found here).

“The recent public debate on artificial intelligence applied to language also shows how this technology has come to play an important role, both at the general level, as well as specifically when it comes to the workplace,” commented Professor Di Noia, who then added: “The opportunities that many Italian youths will have to find jobs that are able to fully satisfy them will largely depend on their knowledge of and ability to use these software products and applications. That’s why we’re pleased that an innovative company like Lottomatica Digital Solutions has partnered with the Polytechnic University of Bari in the selection and recruitment of young talents.”

“In addition to legal gaming, technology is one of the main areas in which we have chosen to focus our activities and commitment,” Del Quondam commented. To which he added: “We’re delighted to be able to hold our Career Day event at the Polytechnic University of Bari. We’re certain that it will serve as a useful opportunity to identify and recruit quality young talents with valuable skills for our development, both in Italy and on the international markets".

In particular, Lottomatica Digital Solutions is looking for undergraduates and recent graduates in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), with a good knowledge of the most advanced software development and data analysis technologies.
