For the third year in a row, Lottomatica enthusiastically took part in the 2025 edition of the Race for the Cure in Rome, the historic event organized by Komen Italia to support the fight against breast cancer and to promote cancer prevention and women’s health.
This year again, over 160 Lottomatica Group employees participated in the race and solidarity walk through the heart of Rome, joining thousands of participants from across Italy.
A major sporting and social event, the Race for the Cure has become a shared moment of awareness, solidarity, and unity, created to fight breast cancer in Italy and around the world. This event further strengthens the company’s commitment to women's health, scientific research, and tangible support for those facing cancer.
The event was held at the Circus Maximus under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic. As tradition dictates, three routes were offered: a 2 km walk, a 5 km non-competitive race open to all, and a 10 km competitive race reserved for athletes.
Lottomatica for Prevention: A United Corporate Community Making a Difference
“Our participation in the Race for the Cure has become a meaningful and shared tradition for our entire corporate community,” said Giuseppina Falcucci, Chief People Officer at Lottomatica.
“We’re proud to be here once again this year, because we strongly believe in the importance of prevention, research, and concrete support for those involved in this battle. The presence of so many colleagues and their families is proof of a genuine commitment that goes beyond the event itself: it’s about being an active part in building a more aware and supportive society.”
