Lottomatica invests in academic training with Panorama Journalism Academy

Pubblicato il: 29 agosto 2025

Lottomatica Group is proud to announce its partnership with the Panorama Journalism Academy, the Master’s program in journalism created by Maurizio Belpietro with the goal of training a new generation of communicators, able to interpret with awareness the ongoing transformations in the world of information.

After the launch of the program’s second edition in March 2025, academic activities paused briefly for the summer break and will resume in September with the following modules. In this transition period, a graduation ceremony was held for several students from the first edition who successfully completed their studies, symbolically marking the handover between generations.

An innovative project for tomorrow’s journalists
The Panorama Journalism Academy stands out for its innovative approach that combines print media, digital platforms, radio, TV, and social networks, offering a comprehensive pathway structured around 60 university credits. The program, in partnership with eCampus University, follows a weekend-based format and integrates academic lessons, seminars, hands-on workshops, and up to three months of internships at the editorial offices of the media group and official partners.

Among the Academy’s founding values are the promotion of critical thinking, the enhancement of soft skills, and the creation of authentic content—capable of resisting both the standardization of information and the replicability typical of Artificial Intelligence. These themes are perfectly aligned with Lottomatica’s long-standing commitment to responsible, conscious, and people-centered communication.

Quality training and ESG values: Lottomatica’s contribution
The partnership with Panorama Journalism Academy represents an important opportunity for Lottomatica to support high-quality academic training, building on initiatives already undertaken in the academic field in recent years. Notable examples include the renewal of the collaboration with LUISS University for the Summer Internship program and participation in initiatives dedicated to the development of transversal skills, such as the webinar organized with Sapienza University on soft skills and employability.

Supporting educational projects such as the Master’s in Journalism is part of the Group’s broader commitment to promoting responsibility in public gaming and embedding ESG strategies across all corporate activities. These topics are especially relevant in engaging with younger generations, who are called to bring innovation and awareness to the world of information and media.

Lottomatica’s university partnerships, alongside the new generations
The new collaboration with Panorama Journalism Academy complements ongoing initiatives with prestigious universities such as LUISS, Università Europea di Roma, and the American University of Rome. In doing so, Lottomatica reaffirms its commitment to fostering talent and training citizens who are ready to face the challenges of the future.
