Lottomatica renews ISO 14064-1 certification for Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Pubblicato il: 05 agosto 2026

Lottomatica Group has once again obtained ISO 14064-1:2018 certification regarding its organizational carbon footprint. The audit, conducted by Bureau Veritas Italia, covers the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory for calendar year 2025 and includes, alongside the parent company, all subsidiaries within the consolidation scope as of December 31, 2025.

An ISO 14000 Family Standard for Environmental Management
The ISO 14064-1 standard is part of the broader ISO 14000 family of certifications dedicated to environmental management. Specifically, it verifies the accuracy of the criteria adopted by an organization for quantifying, monitoring, and reporting greenhouse gas emissions and removals. For Lottomatica, the verified data aligns with the figures reported under the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and compiled with the support of the Group’s Environmental Committee.

Bureau Veritas Audit
The successful certification follows an auditing process that involved document analysis and data sampling across the Group’s various companies. The verification activity, carried out by Bureau Veritas Italia in accordance with the ISO 14064-3 standard, confirmed the accuracy of the GHG statement and the compliance of the reporting process with international standards.

The renewal of this certification is part of the Group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its environmental measurement and monitoring tools—a key preliminary step toward setting medium- to long-term emission reduction targets.

The ISO 14064-1 certification complements Lottomatica's other environmental achievements, including a B rating from the Carbon Disclosure Project and an AAA rating in MSCI's ESG assessment, further reaffirming the consistency of the sustainability path pursued by the Group in recent years.
