Lottomatica and the Lottomatica Foundation run together against breast cancer and for the promotion and protection of women's health.
Over 100 employees of the group marched yesterday along the streets of the historic center of Rome on the occasion of the Race for the cure, the race organized by Komen Italia, an association symbolizing the fight against breast cancer, active since 2000. 25 years of commitment, sweat, runs and walks - competitive and not - to reiterate the absolutely importance of the culture of prevention and express support and closeness to the women who are facing or have had to face this disease in their lives. The so-called women in pink, who with their special t-shirt aim to raise public awareness and send this strong message of encouragement.
A large representation, that of Lottomatica, present at the Race, demonstrating the strong attention that the company and all the people in the group reserve for this issue. “We are really proud to take part in the Race for the cure for the third consecutive year”, underlined the Chief People Officer of Lottomatica Giuseppina Falcucci, who then added: “The participation of many of our colleagues, accompanied by their families, does not represent only a strong signal of solidarity, but also a concrete commitment to raising awareness and supporting research. We are here because we know that we need to join forces to build a better future and because we want to be an active part of the community to support the causes that really matter."
