The Lottomatica Group companies Gamenet S.p.A. and GBO Italy S.p.A. have obtained ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certification for their information security and privacy management systems.
The certification represents an extension of the ISO 27001 information security management standard, for which the two companies were certified in May of 2021, and specifically regards privacy, thus attesting to their synergistic and integrated approach to information security and Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The compliance of these two Lottomatica Group companies was ascertained by the Bureau Veritas certification body, as reassures all the stakeholders that the information security and privacy management model utilised is compliant with the regulations, reduces the risk of any violations, and ensures the continuous updating and improvement of the processes and safeguards identified.
Lottomatica considers the protection and effective management of data to be an absolute priority, and this further milestone reaffirms the group’s commitment to these important issues.
