The environmental volunteering event of the "Become Green" program is back — the initiative promoted by Lottomatica to support corporate sustainability and environmental protection.
On the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity, on May 22, Lottomatica Group employees took part in a volunteering day dedicated to cleaning the beaches of Fiumicino. The event was held in collaboration with AMI – Ambiente Mare Italia, an association committed to the protection of the sea and the biodiversity of Italian coastlines.
This initiative marks the second event of the "Become Green" program, a pathway launched by Lottomatica to raise awareness and actively engage its employees in tangible actions for environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
The main goal of the day was to contribute to the protection of marine biodiversity and the preservation of the Mediterranean ecosystem by removing plastic waste, microplastics, and other pollutants.
Through this type of activity, Lottomatica reaffirms its commitment to the environment, thanks to the active involvement of its employees and with particular attention to the territories in which it operates. It is another step forward in promoting responsible and sustainable behaviors, in line with the Group’s ESG values.
