The company has indeed been awarded the prize for the best project of 2024 in the field of "Reporting Systems," during the first edition of 360 Integrity & Transparency. The initiative, promoted by compliancedesign.it in collaboration with AITRA - Italian Association for Transparency and Anti-Corruption, aims to recognize projects that are particularly attentive to the values of anti-corruption, transparency, ethics, and integrity.
The awards event involved numerous leading figures in the compliance and anti-corruption landscape scene in Italy. Five awards were assigned, with a total of 21 finalists competing: in addition to the one in Reporting Systems, won by Lottomatica, there were awards for Top Level Commitment, Risk Assessment & Planning, Know Your Partner, and Compliance Design.
Representing Lottomatica at the event was Francesco Lauria, Chief Audit Executive of the group, who commented: “For me and my entire team, this is a moment of great pride. This award underscores and values the continuous commitment of the entire group in promoting a culture oriented towards transparency, ethics, and the fight against corruption”. Lauria further emphasized that “the award symbolizes the success of the journey initiated by the company in 2018 when they decided to implement, ahead of regulatory obligations, a reporting system consisting of a dedicated platform and a specific policy, along with targeted activities for staff and executives and onboarding programs for new hires focused on whistleblowing issues”.
