Our recruitment and selection process

The Lottomatica recruitment process is structured in such a way as to facilitate the hiring of qualified, competent, and motivated people to realise the Group’s vision. 

The selection process, which can take place through various channels depending on the specific position, consists of several stages:

  • contacting the candidates when there are open positions within the company;
  • technical and motivational interviews aimed at determining not only the individual’s technical skills, but also whether they are a good fit for the organisation;
  • English language, mental-aptitude, and meta-skills tests. 

This thorough process allows us to identify and successfully integrate professionals who will be able to make a significant contribution to the Group’s business, as well as to a dynamic and inclusive working environment, where each individual is important for the realisation of the Group’s vision.

That’s why we dedicate a great attention to the onboarding process, supporting our new colleagues and making sure that they get to know the business, the people, and the organisation right from the start.

In Lottomatica, onboarding isn’t just a moment in time, it’s a journey. Based on these premises, the “Onboarding Journey” programme was born, which consists of various meetings designed to provide all the means necessary for the new employee to familiarise him/herself with the company and feel like part of the team. 

The onboarding journey in brief:

  • day 1: meeting with the HR team;
  • onboarding day: a day dedicated to new hires, to introduce the organisation through the voices of their colleagues;
  • in-the-field experience: a visit to one or more of the group’s main locations throughout the country;
  • coffee with the Chief: getting to know the group through the words of the top management; 
  • feedback: at the end of the course, the new employees provide feedback on the course to the HR team, in an effort to ensure continuous improvement.

The first steps in the company are crucial to making every person feel welcome.
