This cooperation aims to:

  • support clinical and research activities focused on the prevention, mitigation, and treatment of pathological addiction disorders;
  • contribute to the development of studies and research in the field;
  • enhance understanding of its stakeholders through scientific and measurable evidence;
  • strengthen the continuous improvement process of its activities and initiatives through benchmarking with national and international operators.

The Group also promotes activities in collaboration with other industry operators through its trade associations. In addition, it is committed to ongoing stakeholder engagement via specific surveys on responsible gaming, directed at its consumers and retailers, with the goal of collecting and analyzing sentiment to better guide responsible gaming initiatives.



Partnership 


Partnership with Policlinico Universitario Gemelli of Rome

The CEPIDIntegrated Psychiatric Center for Research, Treatment, and Prevention of Addictions — was established through the collaboration between the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS and Fondazione Lottomatica. It is a center of excellence, equipped with highly qualified personnel and specialized equipment.

The center aims to develop clinical and research activities focused on the prevention, mitigation, and treatment of pathological addiction disorders. In this regard, it seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of these phenomena from an epidemiological perspective, optimize diagnostic and treatment pathways, and improve socio-educational interventions.

European Association for the Study of Gambling (EASG)

Since 2024, the Lottomatica Group has been a member of the European Association for the Study of Gambling (EASG), founded to increase the level of dialogue between its members and other interested parties, representing all aspects related to the activity.

The Association organizes conferences to deepen and disseminate knowledge on all topics related to the study of conduct in Europe.
